Hot and sunny from May to October. Expect it to be dry and sunny averaging 25C. Bring a hoody for the evenings and perhaps a light waterproof just in case.
Located in Las Alpujarra, Bubion is 1300 metres above sea level. Although very small it has everything you´ll need, bars, restaurants, WIFI, fresh fruit and veg market, free parking etc.
Small village charm with unique Moorish / Berber architecture dating back 1000´s of years. Las Alpujarra is UNESCO status Patrimonia Cultural.
Five excellent restaurants and several bars with WIFI; a 3-course meal of tasty local dishes with wine for less than 15€. Beware ordering spirits as they are VERY strong…:)
Well stocked supermarket with several local products on offer. Washing machine provided in every village house.

Most importantly Bubion has 3 brilliant singletracks dropping directly into it and 4 leaving! A favourite run is the ´3 P´s ´where at the end of the day we drive high above Bubion and finish with a superb 2.2km singletrack descent for beers and free tasty tapas.
Directions from Málaga Airport
Exit aeroport direction Malaga.
Continue on the E15/ N340 motorway for approximately 1hour.
Take the exit to Las Alpujarra/ Orgiva.
Drive through Orgiva, then turn right direction Capileira/ Trevelez.
15kms later turn left direction Bubion.
Directions from Granada Airport
On leaving the airport, you will come out onto the motorway heading for Granada.
Turn off almost immediately, for SANTA FE/ GRANADA.
Drive through Santa Fe, continue 10 km to the Granada ringroad and follow directions for MOTRIL.
After approximately 37 km on the motorway, turn off for LANJARON.
Drive through Lanjaron via the bypass direction ÓRGIVA/ La Alpujarra and continue to ÓRGIVA.
Just before Orgiva turn left direction PAMPANIERA/ TREVELEZ.
Continue to BUBION.
