About
Who are Switchbacks and what you can expect
Welcome to Switchbacks Bubion Road Riding. Now in our 18th year we offer stunning road cycling holidays for every rider who is looking for the perfect road riding experience. Started by ex-pro cyclist Michael Saunders we offer GPS guided, or upon request, fully guided road cycling packages from long weekends to week long breaks.
Located in Bubion Sierra Nevada National Park, we deliver the best paved and least trafficked roads in all of phentermineonlineguide. Rides range from between 30 to 150 km distance with graded climbs and descents, that include stages from the Vuelta de Espana, to escapes focused on the more recreational cyclist. All routes encompass stunning scenery, the best of local cuisine and a truly Spanish experience. There is simply no better place to ride a road bike anywhere in Europe.
RIDE THE UNDISCOVERED. Many road cyclists have become trapped in the pattern of travelling to the all too standard locations of the French Alps, Provence or indeed Majorca. Would you like to come and ride where little to no other road cyclists have been before?
Switchbacks holidays are structured around you, the guest. For example, if you are a group of 5 or more riders we can provide you with your own villa, vehicle support and customise the holiday to your riding level.
We are registered in Spain fulfilling all legal and insurance requirements, our official registration number is AT/GR/00264.
Switchback’s stoic Swedish silent partner, with no fewer than seven languages under her belt and an uncanny knack for navigating the murky byways of Spanish bureaucracy. Both the brains and the beauty of the outfit.
The newest addition to the Switchbacks team. A Malaga local, stupid fast, great tash and fit as f@ck. 2018 will see him competing in the EWS for the first but we bet not the last time. Welcome aboard dude.
Luis is our new driver and jump-meister. Years of shredding BMX on the streets of Barcelona and dirt jumping with mates like the Lacondeguy Bros, has fortunately now led him to our team. Welcome aboard bud.
