With our love for all things cycling and knowledge of the infrastructure of 100kms of perfect roads in the area, we now offer Switchbacks Road cycling holidays to match our classic Enduro MTB holidays.

VEHICLE AND GPS SUPPORTED
Ride at your own pace. Riders will be given GPS devices that include not only the days route but also pinpoint local spots for drinks and food/ energy stops so they can ride at their own pace. No pressure of group rides. A support vehicle will follow every ride in case of any problems.
THE ROADS
The roads of Las Alpujarra, Sierra Nevada offer a road cyclist a paradise of 100kms of perfect and nearly untrafficked roads. Based in Bubion we offer week long and long weekend (4 night) road riding holidays for the cyclist looking to ride the road less travelled. We provide 10 different rides ranging from 150km killers with around 2/3000ms of climbing taking you to stunning sea views and vistas of the highest mountains in Spain, to 30, 55 kms loops and 500-1000ms climbing. Our routes have been tried and tested taking in important logistics such as the best coffee bars and lunch stops all pinpointed on the supplied GPS route notes. Our 9 seater vans are on hand with spares and tools in case of any problems.
The best thing about non-guided rides is that you the rider can hit the climbs at your own pace without fear of having to keep pace with the rest of the group. This no pressure riding leaves one to stop and enjoy the ride as you wish.
Sierra Nevada offers an unmatched variety of routes and geographies. From high altitude climbs through orange and olive groves to rolling curving empty roads through forests and rocky crags. Home of the Vuelta de Espana, – the eyes of the road riding world were presented with the undiscovered roads of Las Alpujarras in 2015 and passed through our village of Bubion to complete the 7th Stage of that year.
