Although aimed at the more experienced rider, we offer free skills tuition that will help get near beginners tackling even the hardest of obstacles and trails.
Bike N' Board
Imagine a day where you start out skiing at 3400ms and finish it riding your mountain bike on the beach some 75kms later...Take me there
We have a selection of around 40 singletrack runs ranging in length from 3 mins right up to 5 hours! Our trails are coded from blue to black. The majority of days will include all three levels with a steady development to red/black runs as the week progresses. For those worried about the black runs we offer free skills tuition where we can show you a few simple techniques that will get even beginners riding the most advanced trail conditions by mid-week.FIND OUT MORE
" Hi Switchbacks - absolutely awesome time. Thank you so much for your time and guiding - absolutely loved every second and will definitely be recommending you to everyone. "
- Pat Marshall
" Thanks for the great vacation. I truly enjoyed every ride, uphills and downhills ;) I definitely will be back and can highly recommend this to anybody looking for real mountain biking! "
- Flying Finns Report
" Just wanted to say we had another awesome week with you in Bubion and have not stopped telling our friends about it for the last few weeks. Consequently, I believe we have persuaded our friends Mark and David to come along next year. Charlie "
- Bubion Feedback as great as ever.
" Quite possibly the best XC/Freeride-lite trails we have ever ridden. One can learn more about riding a bike here in a week, than in several years elsewhere. "
- Bike Magazine
" Superbly tough technical riding, empty trails and mostly downhill with straight forward climbs. I've biked in Les Gets, Morzine, Lake Garda, Kenya and all over the UK. This place beats them all. I'll be back. Just need to convince my poor exhausted bike to come too! :) "
- John Ingham
" Sian and I wanted to say a big thank you for giving us such a fantastic week, we seriously cannot think of one thing that would have improved our time out in Bubion with you. We thought that the organisation, accommodation and most of all yours and Robin’s fantastic attitude and tuition really made our holiday. We’ve both come away eager to try out all the new skills we’ve learnt, despite the fact that the local trails are going to be a little poor in comparison. Thanks again for such a great week, and can’t wait to see you next year for another go! "
- Matt Perrins
" Brilliant riding and at places not for the faint of heart. These guys take novice to semi-advanced riders and send them home as confident, switchback-sliding, altitude-trained legends. "
" The incredible mixture of natural singletrack, rock gardens and flow will keep every rider happy! "
- Gee Atherton
" If you have never been to switchbacks put it on your bucket list , runs are awesome especially the ridiculator , soooooo good , and mike who runs it , makes it special , been twice to benalmadena . Top runs (911 rock gardens , then the gardens are farms fu**ing long ) pizza in the town and beer is €1.50 a pint it all adds up to a trip and a half . And unlike the Alps it's well let's say discreet, like your on a invite only. So go go go . "
- Thanks for the review Lee
" Just a quick line to thank you for a fantastic couple of days with you and your team in Bubion. We are really impressed with the amount of riding we managed to cram into our short break aswel as the laid back "out riding with mates" feel to your operation. Hopefully we'll see you all again one day for more trails and tapas either in Bubion or down in Benalmadena. "
