Finding a bike hotel in Malaga is no easy task. Despite being a prime destination for cycling, Malaga clearly lacks of quality accommodation for riders and their beloved machine. This is why at Switchbacks, we decided to create our own.
Location – Bike Hotel Malaga
Located at the heart of the local MTB trail network and cycling roads, our villa is designed to welcome cyclists. Alhaurin del Grande is a traditional village filled with local pubs, cafés and restaurants. On top of riding your bike all day, you’ll be able to experience the real Andalusian culture.
Only 30 minutes drive from the Malaga international Airport, it’s very easy and quick to access. We’ll pick you up and drop you off from the airport anyways, so you don’t have to worry about logistics.

Workshop
Because we know things can sometimes go wrong, we are proud to welcome you with a fully equipped workshop.
Pressure washer, Allen keys, bike stands, torx key set, chain breaker and more. Everything you need to take care of your bike while on Holidays. Plus, everyone working here rides bikes, so if you need a hand, feel free to ask!
The Workshop is also used for bike storage. It’s off the street in the main villa building, and locked up. Means your favourite machine is safe from malicious minds and thief.

Single, couples, groups, we accommodate everyone
The Accommodation is an 18 beds villas. We have 3 queen size bed rooms for couples or singles that want privacy and tranquility.
The rest of the beds are singles in rooms of 2,3 or 4. Every part of the villa comes with a fully equipped kitchen and supplies for breakfast so you can cook yourself the most nutritious meal before heading for a ride.
The Villa is divided in 3 parts which all have a living room to relax after riding, watch some of your gopro video on Tv or have a beer.
There is also a huge outdoor area where you can chill and have dinner at night.
Dinner for champions
We know how exhausting it is to go out on the town after a hard day of riding. But we want you to be fuelled properly for a hard day of riding, so we have a chef coming every evening to cook you delicious dinners.
Meat eater, vegetarian or Vegan, the chef will have the pleasure to cater a meal that fits your needs and desires.
That way all you have to worry about is getting home, clean your bike, have a shower and sit down at the dinner table. The rest will be handled for you.
